Vanity Fair's Africa Issue

Vanity Fair has released it's African-themed July issue which is guest edited by music superstar Bono who is known for his continued efforts to raise awareness of world poverty.

Bono and Vanity Fair editor in chief Graydon Carter decided to make the African-themed issue the biggest ever with multiple number of covers - a whopping 20, all shot by Annie Leibovitz

The cover stars include Oprah Winfrey, Iman, Alicia Keys, Muhammad Ali, George Clooney, Djimon Hounsou, George W. Bush, Chris Rock, Maya Angelou, Condoleeza Rice, Queen Rania of Jordan, Bill and Melinda Gates, Barack Obama, Madonna, Warren Buffet, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Don Cheadle, Jay-Z, Brad Pitt and Bono who were chosen for their iconic status and most importantly their dedication to philanthropy.
