This is the first single taken from Ciara's new album, Fantasy Ride. This vocoder shit is really pissing me off now and I still can't understand why it's selling. This track is dry as hell and all Ciara's splits and gyrating can't hide that fact. Yawn! Ci-ci you need to come harder!

Brandy: Right Here (Departed) {Video}

Brandy is back with a new single Right Here (Departed) taken from her forthcoming album Human, which is set for release November 11, 2008. Personally I don't know what to say about this track, its nice but I'm just not feeling it but hopefully it will be a grower because Brandy deserves to come back with a bang. She needs to come better than this though because this just sounds like a album filler to me. It's seems like Kelly's Like This all over again and we all know how Ms Kelly sank without a trace. Jada and her fabulous self visited the Late Show last night in New York City to promote her new film Women and I have to say she looks spectacular for a woman of her age. Can you believe this woman is turning 37 next week? Simply amazing. She is definitely like fine wine because she just keeps getting better.

Christina Milian attended the Pepsi blue carpet bash in LA last night and I have to say she is trying her darndest to stay relevant. She has been hitting up every bash in Hollywood recently but she sure looks fabulous for the unemployed.

Christina has signed with Myspace Record and is now working on a new album with producers, Cool & Dre and Danja Hills.

She also hit up the House of Hype Celebrity BBQ on Saturday in LA.

Cassie Ft Lil Wayne: Official Girl {Video}

Official Girl is the first single from Cassie's second album, due for release early next year. Producer Danja Hillz provides the hot beat but it's best to watch this on mute because although Cassie is pleasing to the eye, her weak vocals are killing the ears. You have to give Cassie some credit though, because she knows she can't sing a lick so she is channeling Aaliyah by recycling some dance moves from Try Again.

Jamaicans Stand Up!

Not only have Jamaican's all over the world been celebrating Usain Bolt's record breaking 100m race but Jamaican Shelly Ann Fraser led the women's 100 team to a sweeping success with compatriats, Sherone Simpson and Kerron Stewart tied for second place, with both collecting silvers.

To say I'm proud to be Jamaican is an understatement but this is a well deserved victory and to do it with such style and grace is a true reflection of all the hard work and determination of the Jamaican athletic team.

They did the damn thing and it is about time!

You all know I love me some Joe but I am not feeling this single at all, he needs to come back better than this. Dare I say it, this song is weak and I never thought I would say that about any Joe song. Let's just hope the album is much better than this.

Lil Kim To Pose For Playboy

What do you do when you are a washed up ex-convict with your music career down in the dumps? Pose for Playboy of course...well apparently Lil Kim is considering a centerfold in the magazine's December 2008 issue to try and save her fledging career.

According to reports Playboy creator Hugh Hefner has been courting the self confessed black barbie for years, "I am willing to shell out any amount for Kim, I’ve been trying to get her to do it for years! Hugh exclaims."

Ok, without a doubt this is one of those WTF? moments but in all honesty no one wants to see Kim posed in her clothes not to mention naked. There are just no words to describe the current state that Lil Kim is in due to what she has subjected herself to because of her obsession with the surgeon's knife but she needs to keep that sh*t to herself.

There is just no need for this at all, I dread to think how much over time her re-toucher will have to do because he/she will have to photoshop the hell out of those pics. I know I keep saying it but sometimes these jokes just write themselves. SMH!

It seems like my prayers have finally been answered because Serena looks banging in the September issue of Men's Health Magazine. The lighting, the make-up, the hair and not to mention the body is on point. The tennis champ looks sexy as hell in this shoot and I will go as far as to say this is her best look yet. Get it girl! Soul Legend Isaac Hayes Dies At 65

Isaac Hayes — a legendary soul singer, songwriter, musician and producer whose career spanned four decades and who achieved unexpected fame later in life as the voice of "South Park" character Chef — died Sunday afternoon (August 10), a spokesperson for the Shelby County, Tennesee, sheriff's department told WMC-TV in Memphis.

Hayes' wife found him on the floor near a treadmill inside his home, according to the station's Web site. Hayes was taken to Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, where he was pronounced dead at 2:08 p.m.

Deputies with the Shelby County Sheriff's Department are continuing their investigation into Hayes' death, but they believe no foul play was involved, the report said. Hayes was 65. Mtv.Com

"Love For Sale" Premiere

Celebs hit up the Love For Sale premiere at the The 12th Annual American Black Film Festival in LA on Friday. The new Russ Parr film stars Mya, Clifton, Powell, Melyssa Ford (straight to video I see), Jackie Long and Jason Weaver.

Mya I guess Mya's music career is finished since her album, Liberation sank without a trace but I guess she can always fall back on her blossoming acting career. She was due to make her broadway debut in Chicago in May but had to postpone it because of a broken foot.

Bernie Mac Passes Away At 50

The "Original King Of Comedy" died on Saturday from complications associated with pneumonia in a Chicago-area hospital. He began his career in stand-up, bringing black stand-up comedy to a wider audience before starring roles in Hollywood blockbusters such as - Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Transformers, Guess Who? and the Ocean's Eleven franchise with Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

Following Mac's passing, Clooney expressed his grief, "The world just got a little less funny. He will be dearly missed."
