Mini Upgrade!

While Rihanna has been busy taking over stateside, Beyonce has been popping up all over London on her world tour. The bootylicious one and her sister Solange hit up London hot spot Paper nightclub for her after party Saturday night.
Apparently the Upgrade U singer demanded two huge electric fans be installed at Paper nightclub to help keep her cool.

B was also spotted returning to the Landmark Hotel in Paddington yesterday



There was yet another Bey sighting, here she is leaving the Landmark Hotel with baby Daniel this morning. Later she was spotted shopping at Stella McCartney's boutique with Solange and Mama Knowles in tow.

On a funny note...

Paris Hilton is finally in prison. She turned herself in to authorities at Los Angeles County Jail last night after attending the MTV Movie Awards. Stand-up Comedian Sarah Silverman hosted the awards show and she couldn't help but make fun at the fame hungry star's impending jail sentence. View the clip below:


LMAO! This is funny as hell, I know you shouldn't really laugh at other people's misfortune but this is Paris Hilton we are talking about here. Who in the world goes to a big awards show a few hours before reporting to jail? Everything this girl does is for publicity so I haven't no sympathy for her I'm only pissed that her sentence got cut from 45 days to 23 days. Even the great Jack Nicholson and Eva Mendes couldn't help but laugh at the the attention seeking ho. The look on her face is priceless the ho look like she wanted to cry. As she should. LOL!

Costume Institute Gala @ The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The celeb fashonistas were out in full force, working the red carpet at the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in honour of the Paul Poiret exhibit in New York last night (07May).


The red carpet queen, Jennifer Lopez made an appearance, channeling old Hollywood glamour in this divine Marchesa creation.

I just wish Jennifer would leave Marc at home, he spoils all the great pictures.

J-Hud Records Duet With Ne-Yo

Oscar winner JENNIFER HUDSON has repaid singer/songwriter NE-YO for helping pen songs on her debut album, by recording a duet with the R+B hunk for his next release. The hot couple recently teamed up in the studio to work on the DREAMGIRLS star's debut, and she's so impressed with his efforts so far, Hudson has agreed to record a duet with her new pal. Ne-Yo tells MTV News, "We did a duet together and it came out very hot. The name of the song is called LEAVIN' TONIGHT and... it's one of those songs where I am clearly being out-sang and I know it. "But, because it is Jennifer Hudson and she has such an amazing voice, it's just an honour to be on the track with her. "The bigness of her voice and the regularity of my voice, the contrast between the two is like night and day and it makes perfect sense."

Actress JENNIFER HUDSON has signed on with cosmetics giant Avon to front a worldwide campaign for their new perfume. The DREAMGIRLS star - who won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in the hit film musical last month (FEB07) - is overjoyed at the prospect of representing new fragrance Imari Seduction for Avon's Imari range. She says, "This is an honour for me and very flattering." Avon's executive vice president LIZ SMITH is also delighted at the signing, citing Hudson's remarkable journey to the top as an important factor in attracting their target audience. She adds, "We believe that our Avon representatives and their customers will be truly inspired by Jennifer's dream-come-true success story."

Simon Cowell Disses J-Hud!

Simon Cowell targeted his sharp tongue on new Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson:

"Jennifer Hudson said American Idol was a 'stepping stone' for her. Stepping stone? It was her big opportunity to become noticed and she got noticed and she got Dreamgirls," Cowell said, noting that other past contestants "deliberately turn against the show that made them successful. The reason (people) come on the show is because all the doors had been slammed in their face." (Source)


I have always been a Simon Cowell fan because he always speaks the truth but this time he has gone too far. Why can't he just let Jennifer bask in her Oscar glory without him having a dig at her. He just cant accept the fact that although she didn't win American Idol she has gone on to bigger and better things than than some of the winners. So what if she doesn't attribute her success to American Idol? Jennifer was right when she said it was 'stepping stone' because if it wasn't for her sheer determination she wouldn't be where she is today. The ridicule she faced when she was a contestant on the show, could have easily made her lose confidence in her abilities. Simon should congratulate her for what she has achieved and get over it!
