Costume Institute Gala @ The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The celeb fashonistas were out in full force, working the red carpet at the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in honour of the Paul Poiret exhibit in New York last night (07May).

The red carpet queen, Jennifer Lopez made an appearance, channeling old Hollywood glamour in this divine Marchesa creation.

I just wish Jennifer would leave Marc at home, he spoils all the great pictures.

Alicia Keys
Alicia Keys was also there looking slightly uncomfortable, however she is stepping up her fashion game

Jennifer Hudson

Eva Mendes

Naomi Campbell
I really don't know WTF Naomi was thinking here, she is usually on point in the fashion stakes but this get-up is a big no no. For some reason this reminds me of that damn swan dress Bjork wore to the Oscars and if I compare it to that mess you know it's really bad. The shoes , the dress, oh shit its all just wrong but at least she has taken off that damn mop wig off her head so I suppose I have to thank God for small mercies!

Rihanna

Caribbean princess, Rihanna can do no wrong at the moment. Loves it!

OMG! Yes I did indeed gasp when I saw this picture. Serena is really working her new look, I have to give her credit she looks fab here. There are a few minor adjustments she still needs to make but for her this is a major upgrade! I hope she keeps it up its a really good look on her!

Kidada Jones (looking really under-dressed)

I'm guessing Kidada didn't know or care what the dress code was.

Melanie B went out for a bite to eat with her Spice Girl pals @ the Ivy last night

Oh, on the Eddie Murphy drama tip, Mel has insisted that the baby was planned. This mess is getting way out of hand as I've said before Eddie should just do the damn DNA test and get it over and done with. The longer he waits the more agitated Mel gets and although she admits she is still in love with him, we all know there is nothing like a woman scorned and Eddie is really pushing it now!
