I've been busy as hell so the updates were slow last week but I'm back now so let me catch up on some of the goss I missed.

Cassie Dropped From Bad Boy Entertainment?

The gossip blogs have been buzzing about the news that Cassie's non-singing ass has finally been dropped from Bad Boy Entertainment. Oh well for some reason I think that might be wishful thinking for the most part since her debut album was a moderate success and Diddy took every opportunity to defend her poor live performances. Anyway if Diddy has finally come to his senses and dropped her ass I'm sure this won't be the last we see of her because she could always f*uck for some more tracks.



Eve Preps The Release Of New Album Here I Am

After taking a four year hiatus from the rap scene to focus on Hollywood and fashion, Eve is back with her new album Here I Am which is set for release August 7. Eve needs to come real hard with this new album since there is no competition in the game right now with Lil Kim busy working on her comeback and Foxy catching cases all over the place and misbehaving her crazy ass.

The triple threat diva Here I Am is shaping up to be her best release yet:

"This is the album I've always wanted to make," she says. "In the past my albums have had a heavy male influence. Not this time. This one represents the woman I am today."

Ciara shot the video for her third single, Can't Leave Em Alone feat 50 Cent from her sophomore album The Evolution a few days ago. Cici looks really cute here and although I'm not really feeling this song I'm can't wait to see the video.

Joss Stone has put her Ex... music producer Beau Dozier on blast, branding him "disgusting" for revealing details about their failed relationship to British Tabloid, News of the World last year.

She says, "On my God! Disgusting.

"Maybe one day I'll understand why he decided to that, but right now. It's beyond my comprehension."

I'm not a Joss Stone fan at all but I have to agree with her on this one I remember reading the interview with Beau last year and I was puzzled because all he talked about was that their 18 month relationship was not sexual and blah blah. I was like who the hell cares...next! Now if he did a Dallas Austin and ranted about her f*cking for tracks then that would have been more interesting.

I'm sure by now you all know how I love Ms Kelly but it's things like these that really piss me off. It's one thing to love and be completely devoted to Beyonce but there is no need to start lying to her too. Don't get me wrong B is a great singer and performer but a Oscar wining worthy actress she is not! Kelly just stop it now and think about promoting your new album Ms Kelly because Beyonce doesn't need all this publicity but you do. Ms Kelly drops July 3, make sure you cop it. Yes I had to drop the plug in what can I say I love the girl I just wish she would step her game up and shut her mouth when she ain't got nothing constructive to say.

Its good to see that she has stepped her promotion game up for the forthcoming July 3rd release of her sophomore album, Ms Kelly. I know like my me you can't wait for Ms Kelly to finally drop but I still keep thinking more should be done for it to garner the same heat as Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad album. Anyway although there is more to be done Kelly is on the right track she is getting mad press all over the place because everyone wants her album to do really well.

She is still on her whirlwind European tour promoting Good Girl Gone Bad, which is due for release June 5. I have got a good feeling about this album and its set to do big things with Umbrella already topping the charts in the UK and Ireland and top 10 in Russia, Sweden and Finland.

Rihanna was in Prague earlier this week shooting the video for her new single Shut Up And Drive. As I keep saying Def Jam is not letting up on the promo blitz for Good Girl Gone Bad, they are so confident that it's going to do well they offered Rihanna a $600,000 budget for the Shut Up And Drive video. 50 Cent Bumps Back Curtis & Covers Vibe Magazine

All this talk of promos and new releases reminds me: 50 cent as bumped back the release of his third album Curtis from June 26 to Sept. 4. Fiddy's excuse is that he wants all his international fans to get the album at the same time as his US fans. Whatever you say 50, so it's not because new singles Amusement Park and Straight to the Bank are both garbage then. mmm!



Like Kelly and Riri, Fiddy is getting his promo on, he covers the July issue of Vibe Magazine looking as constipated as hell. I wonder WTF Vibe bosses were thinking when they decided on this shot for the cover, although the headline asks: "Who is afraid of 50 Cent?" I think they should ask "Who is laughing at 50 Cent" because this shit is sure as funny as hell to me. I wonder what Cam'ron thinks about this? Lol!


Well gimmicks aside Fiddy is forever on the grind and now he is laughing "straight to the bank" since Coca-Cola purchased Glacéau, a company that produces vitamin water for $4.1 billion dollars which he invested in. He invested in the company in 2004 and owns 10% of the company. According to reports Fiddy is set to earn an estimated $400 million dollars from the sale. You gotta respect Fiddy's hustle he chats pure shit most times but his business ventures are always on point.


B-Rocka Can't Catch A Break, Sued Again


R&B star Brandy Norwood has been hit with another lawsuit connected to the December (06) car crash that cost her a job as a judge on U.S. TV show America'S Got Talent.

Mallory Ham, one of the survivors of the fatal car crash the singer/actress stands accused of causing, has filed suit in Los Angeles, stating Brandy should not have been speeding in her Range Rover on the 405 freeway in California.

In the lawsuit, Ham states Brandy "recklessly wantonly, unlawfully, and maliciously" operated the car responsible for causing a collision that claimed the life of Awatef Aboudihaj.

Ham, who is the third person suing Norwood over the crash, claims she was "severely injured" as a result of the multi-car accident, and is demanding the singer pay her medical bills as well as her legal costs and punitive damages.

Meanwhile, Norwood has responded to a wrongful death suit filed against her as a result of the accident.

In her papers, the singer denies allegations against her and calls for a jury trial, so she can face the charges levelled against her.

Poor lamb, Brandy really can't catch a break, this was an unfortunate accident but everyone seems determined to get their pound of flesh because Brandy is a celebrity. With lawsuits flying from left to right I'm sure Brandy must be really distressed because not only did someone die in the accident but her recording career is in the wilderness at the moment. Not to mention that her hoe of a brother is pimping himself around Hollywood when he should be comforting his poor sis. My prayers are with you Brandy I know what it feels like to be kicked when you're down.

I have been slacking with the posts in the last few days so let me catch up on all the goss in the world of the good, the bad and sometimes the down right nasty with a mega upgrade and I might just throw in a few scraps.

The good: Beyonce takes a break from her European tour to get her shop on in Paris

Beyonce heads the field for the 2007 BET Awards with six nominations. The nominations were announced today (May 16) by rappers T.I. and 50 Cent, R&B crooner Robin Thicke and "Everybody Loves Chris" cast member Tichina Arnold during a press conference at Hollywood's Renaissance Hotel.

On a side note that get up that B is rocking is off, I'm not feeling it all she looks dowdy as hell in that brown.



Mary J. Blige Covers Essence Magazine

Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J Blige graces the cover of Essence for a record ninth time and in an intimate portrait inspired by scenes from the movie Mahogany, Mary J. and her husband, Kendu Isaacs, open up about their courtship and marriage and how breaking through Mary's pain brought them to love.


Also featured in the June issue of Essence is superstar in the making, Rihanna who took a break from her "ela ela ela" chants to pose for photographer, Anders Overgaard in her native, Barbados for these breezy summer style shots.

Riri looks stunning in these pics, she has got the style game on lock at the moment. I love how she as evolved from girl next door to fun and flirty chic. Its a good look on her!

The Bad: Foxy Brown almost runs over mom and baby

According to NY Daily News Inga almost ran over a mother and her baby in Brooklyn last week, although her drivers licenses is suspended. WTF is wrong with this heffa? I tell you Inga has lost her damn mind, I know she is bored as hell because she ain't done shit for a few years except catch cases all over the place (she is currently on probation for beating down two manicurist in Manhattan two years ago) but damn she needs to get her act together. Whatever happened to Foxy the rapper, I know bitch was deaf for a hot minute but there is no excuse for all this shit that her dumb ass as been getting into in recent years. Smh!

So Pastor Mason Betha was caught "doing a Eddie Murphy" by picking up trannies on Spring Street in Atlanta. I'm sure there was no funny business he was just trying to preach the word of God. Lol!

According to Hiphopdx, the woman who was involved in the car wreck, said it happened when she was going north and pulled into the left turning lane while Mase was beside her in the right hand lane. She says she was about to make a left onto North Ave when Mase tried to turn in front of her truck in an attempt to circle the block to pick up a transvestite.

She told the Ryan Cameron show that: ""The shims their running up to the car saying 'girl, girl we seen what happened we seen everything' it's like five or six of them because they working so they run up to the car saying 'girl are you ok he's been circling around here girl like four times already tryin to pick one of these queens up'."

LMAO! This shit is too funny! I wonder what Fiddy thinks about this, better yet I wonder what Mase is gonna tell the congregation in church on Sunday.

The internet has been buzzing over the last few days about Serena's alleged relationship with actor Jackie Long, since pictures surfaced with the two looking more than friendly. First of all I know you are asking who, he is that cute skinny dude who was in the movie ATL. Anyway this is old news to me, long before these pictures popped up, they have been out and about at numerous Hollywood events so I just naturally thought they were together. I'm a big Serena fan and Jackie seems like a cool dude so good luck to them!


Bobby Brown is at it again..Sues for that Whitney money!

Not satisfied that he turned Whitney into a drug addict, the R&B Junkie Bobby Brown filed a lawsuit against ex-wife Whitney Houston to change the terms of custody of their teen daughter, Bobbi Kristina. Whitney was granted full custody of Bobbi Kristina after Bobby failed to turn up at the custody hearing.

According to TMZ in court documents filed in Orange County , Brown explains that he was just too screwed up after the breakup to properly handle a custody battle. "After Whitney and I separated, I had nowhere to go and very little money to live on. I was, for all intents and purposes, homeless." That's why he failed to respond to Whitney's petition for custody in time, and why she was ultimately deemed the primary parent.

Bobby wants spousal and child support and he goes on to say that since their divorce became final on April 24th he's been homeless at times. WTF ever, I don't doubt that he loves his daughter but you know he is suing for shared custody of Bobby Kristina to get Whitney's dough. Damn, whatever happened to all the royalties from Don't Be Cruel and My Prerogative ? How the mighty have fallen, this was the same man who was once described as the king of R&B.

The self confessed Pied Piper of R&B singer claims he is as iconic and talented in his field as a host of important black figures, including boxing legend Muhammad Ali.

He told Hip-Hop Soul magazine: "I'm the Ali of today. I'm the Marvin Gaye of today. I'm the Bob Marley of today. I'm the Martin Luther King, or all the other greats that have come before us.

"And a lot of people are starting to realise that now."

He boasts: "My greatest competition is, well, me."

He needs to STFU! Who the hell is starting to realise that he is in the same league as Martin Luther King and Ali? I'm sure all people want to know is when is your damn trial and when you are gonna start your prison sentence! The only thing I'm starting to realise is that you might get away with your charges of soliciting a minor for pornography purposes because this must be the longest non-trial in history!

On A Sad Note...

Yolanda King, the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s eldest child, has collapsed and died. She was 51. King died late Tuesday in Santa Monica, CA. Ms. King was the founding Director of the King Center's Cultural Affairs Program and was a spokesperson for the national stroke awareness association. RIP!
